Another travel post ... what does that mean??
Loads of photos! Wahoo!!
(not gonna lie I love photos, so don't worry I won't judge you for not reading anything I actually write in this post)
But I'm going to write it anyway;
A few years ago we jetted off to Thailand! We began in Phuket for a week and then stopped off in Bangkok for a few days on our way back home.
As per, we stayed at the usual Marriott.
A few snaps of Phi Phi Island - hands down the best beach I've ever been too! It had that dreamy white sand that doesn't get stuck everywhere when you sit down (unless you're wet) and the water was divine! I'm not even kidding, it was the kind of clean blue water you could swim in and it wasn't riddled with sand that gets stuck inside your swimming cozzy.
We took to a little tour to take us round the islands (cause there were a few) so off we went on the speed boat that took a big group of us around. We only stopped off at 2, the 2 biggest I believe are Ko Phi Phi Don and Ko Phi Phi Lee (I could be wrong this was a few years ago). They also took us to a little alcove with this big spread of blue water where we leaped off the boat (seen above, ignore my label sticking out) and we even got to snorkel about a bit to see all the fab fishies.
And here's me being the Little Mermaid - I'm cool like that.
And here was YaYa the baby elephant! So gorgeous!
The even brought us free water and fruit, which was so fresh in the heat and humidity!
My ace looking (and tasting in fact) Thai curry we made in the cooking class! Don't ask me how to make it now, because I honestly couldn't tell you.
When we sadly had to say goodbye to Phuket we stopped off in Bangkok for a day or two, as BA doesn't fly directly to Phuket. So of course we had to take a tuk tuk round the town and went to see a few good temples and even went on that funky looking boat in the above picture!
It was a really lovely holiday, I feel so lucky and privileged to be able to see the amazing sites of this world!
Where have you been lately? Any Easter holiday holidays booked?
